Ronissha’s passion for film and television production grew during her college years, where she worked on several short films and directed numerous on-campus events ranging from the homecoming pageants to the annual Commencement exercises.
After graduating she began her career working on reality shows such as Dog: Bounty Hunter & Parking Wars. She moved on to be an Associate Story Producer on Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood & Black Ink Crew: Chicago. Her previous credits include: Story AP on the game show Deal or no Deal (hosted by Howie Mandel), Online Coordinator and Post Production Coordinator on Love & Hip Hop Series, Money Power Respect, Bringing Up Ballers and UnExpected.
Ronissha is an Associate Professor at Long Island University teaching Production Management and Single Camera Film Style Production and freelances as a Producer for independent films and web series.
Her most recent producing credits include the fantasy thriller film, Necromancer (2015 IPRHFF & 2016 Official Latino Short Film Festival and 2017 Barebones Film Festival official film selection), Blonde Amy (2017 Revolution Me Film Festival official film selection, Yonkers Film Festival Audience Choice Winner & Iron Mule Audience Choice Winner), the action-comedy Connie Saves Gilbert and The Republican (2018 Barebones Film Festival Official Selection & Winner of Best Narrative Short and 2020 Barbados International Film Festival Official Selection).
Ronissha is the creator and director of the web series I F@$%ing Quit. A satirical show about an overworked woman who hates her job and the shenanigans she endures from her co-workers. I F@$%ing Quit: Season 1 is available to watch on YouTube.
She's worked with industry professionals such as, but not limited to, Larry Banks (Cinematographer: Juice), Norman Steinberg (Writer: Blazing Saddles / Cosby), Jonathan Frakes (Director / Actor: Star Trek), Tracey Izatt (Producer: Top Chef) and Malik Yoba (Actor: New York Undercover).
Ronissha has her Master's Degree in Film/Television Production and Media Management.
